Private family graveside services for Norma “Jean” Renshaw of Perry formerly of rural Dallas Center, IA. will be held at Greenwood Cemetery. Jean passed away Monday, May 4, 2020 at Rowley Memorial Masonic Home at the age of 91. Norma Jean Agnes Renshaw was born January 24, 1929 in Atlantic, Iowa the daughter of Francis and Agnes (McCurdy) Bannick. She attended Washington Township School. Jean married the love of her life, Donald Dean Renshaw on January 24, 1947. They were married nearly seventy-two years at the time of his passing in 2018. They loved to travel and had taken many memorable trips. Jean was a very active member at Trinity Lutheran Church and prepared many funeral meals and church dinners before her health could not let her do so. She was a very good cook and loved cooking for her family and friends. Survivors include one daughter, Janet (Larry) Clark of Cumming, IA; two sons, Larry Renshaw of Dallas Center, IA, Vern (Deanna) Renshaw of Minburn, IA; 13 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren; three sisters, Elsie VanGundy, June Myers, Kay Parmer and one brother Roger Bannick. Preceding Jean in death were her parents; husband, Donald; three sisters YeWanna Payton, Pearl Trent and Alice Bannick. Memorials will be directed to Hospice of the Midwest, 103 N. 4th Street, Guthrie Center, IA 50115 in Jean’s name.
